My client had lived in the property for many years and had already personalised many of the rooms, however they felt the lounge/ diner had been neglected and could benefit from an update.

About the project
My client had very specific ideas regarding colour and patterns, bold floral/ stripe clash for the soft furnishings with neutral carpet and walls. Colourful and fun accessories, such as animal/ bird multicoloured lighting fixtures and an alternative furniture placement was also on their wish list.
After our initial discussion, my client asked me to produce design boards to help with their decision-making process and alongside these I was able to provide fabric samples and accessory suggestions.
Due to the busy nature of my client's business, this is as far as the project has progressed.
I hope to get back to this project very soon to install the chosen design and to give my client the room they were always hoping for.
SJD - This brief gave me the opportunity to embark on a creative journey which was quite different from my usual style. This allowed me to research bold patterns and daring colour clashes, which resulted in an exhilarating design experience.
