MY story

Interior Design: A Lifelong Passion
Interior design has always been at the forefront of my life. This passion became even more pronounced when my family purchased one of their many renovation projects. Over the years, my designs have evolved, becoming bolder and braver—often following trends but always maintaining a unique touch.

Career Journey: From Marketing to Interior Design
After graduating from university with a BA (Hons) in Marketing & Advertising, I embarked on a diverse career path. Where, for over twenty years I worked in various office roles, including receptionist, car salesperson, estate agent,  a decade as an Office Manager for a large engineering company. Whilst renovating our homes, moving up the property ladder every time.

However, my dream was to become my own boss. The question was: in which industry? Food, due to my love for cooking, or Interior Design? I chose the latter.

Educational Pursuits and Pandemic Challenges
In 2018, I successfully completed a level three diploma in Professional Interior Design at the National Design Academy. Following that, I took a “year off” to gather my thoughts, care for my family, and to decide on my next steps. Unfortunately, the pandemic of 2020/2021 disrupted these plans, leading to homeschooling, virtual workouts with Joe Wicks, and numerous DIY projects!

Embracing Hearing Loss
An important aspect of my ongoing journey is coming to terms with my hereditary hearing loss. Diagnosed at the age of twenty-two, my hearing has progressively worsened from mild to profound. However, I refuse to let my “deafness” hinder my ability to create inspirational designs. Feel free to contact me by any of my preferred modes of communication.
